Unforgettable
It seems unbelievable that such a thing could happen
Out of all the people we ask why you?
When will this pain end, when?
To us you were the dew,
To us you were a star,
A simple and radiant smile,
A bright ray of sunshine,
To us you were so much
That it is so hard to account for it all
It is so hard to think you are gone,
There was just so much,
So much for you to live,
For you to experience,
For you to gain,
“Why you?”, we ask
We all knew you or had seen you
And remember your bright smile
Your cheerful character
Your laugh
Your way of presenting yourself
Why must you leave us?
Why leave us to this eternal suffering?
To this unbelievable pain,
To this unbelievable confusion,
Why?
Don’t think this is something that will pass,
You will eternally be in our memory,
Forever and ever
Your life will not be forgotten,
And in every thought, you will be there.

Dear Marlene,
I cant believe your gone,
All I have now are memories-
Memories of the times when all was great
And nothing had gone wrong.
When I first heard the news
I was in complete denial,
For in my heart and mind
Such a thought
Would delay in registration to file
Your death was tragic
But the memories we share are beautiful
And whenever I was at my lowest
You simply smiled, and once again,
Things are wonderful
You taught me something,
Not to take a day in vain,
For everyday is a blessing
And we must persevere above the pain
You were always smiling
Sharing with others your love,
And now you are resting in the heavens
Watching over us from above
You are an angel
With a lot of happiness to contribute
And this little poem of mine
Will be my personal little tribute
We love you so much
And you will be greatly missed
But now, my one and only wish,
That in paradise you will forever rest.

In everyone’s eyes you were a great person, you had a wonderful personality. You were even nice to me and Idid not know you at all in any type of way. I mean you started a conversation whenever we made contact with one another. You also gave to those in need. I just wanna say that I am very thankful for the brief conversations we had. Now your in a better place you don’t have to deal with this nonsense anymore, my heart is with your family much love. R.I.P MARLENE
