Several booths were lined at the main entrance of the school with representatives from such institutions as Western Career College, UC Davis, and Wyotech.  Richmond High School held a College and Career fair on Thursday, May 20th,2010.   These representatives offered interested students with a walk through of their individual colleges.  Students also had the chance to ask questions concerning admission requirements, campus life, cost, etc. Blanca Hernandez, the organizer for Advancement, Motor,Alliance&Cause(A.M.A.Ca) says “I pursue a lot of advocation for AB540 scholarships for undocumented students.”  Blanca’s organization helps undocumented students get higher learning advantages, which in the U.S. are a necessity. Normally, undocumented students only have a partial chance of getting a scholarship to go to college.  Robert Hickerson from UC Davis says “Many student activities help you gain experiences for your career.” UC Davis is a college located in Davis, California.  Yvonne Steffen says “Clark University is a very well known campus , I went to Clark.” A lot of information was given about these campuses which you may find on their websites.
